Carbon Monoxide System Testing

At Haig Service Corporation, we specialize in comprehensive carbon monoxide system testing tailored for schools, offices, hospitals, HOAs, and workplaces. Our meticulous process includes activating all system devices—smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, beam detectors, and more—ensuring they communicate seamlessly with fire panels and central stations. We inspect ancillary devices for proper function, clean and calibrate detectors, document all equipment details, and identify deficiencies or code violations. Backed by a detailed NFPA inspection report, we deliver transparency and peace of mind to safeguard your facilities and the people within.

What We Do During Testing (Basics)

  1. System Device Activation: We activate all devices within the system, including but not limited to smoke detectors, heat detectors, relays, monitor modules, pull stations, beam detectors, horn strobes, strobes, and speakers.

  2. Fire Panel Verification: Ensure the fire panel detects all device activations and that signals are sent successfully to the central station.

  3. Ancillary Device Testing: Verify that ancillary devices such as relays, elevators, audio systems, and lighting activate as expected.

  4. Detector Maintenance: Clean detectors and perform any necessary calibrations for optimal functionality.

  5. Detailed Equipment Records: Document all equipment details, including make, model, part numbers, device loop numbers, descriptions, and precise locations.

  6. Deficiency Reporting: Identify and record any deficiencies, repairs needed, or code violations.

  7. Comprehensive Reporting: Provide a clear and transparent NFPA-compliant inspection report detailing all findings.
